Boy and girl track and field athletes ages 11-13 with Italian backgrounds will be nominated for selection to the ITALIAN NATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE (CONI) USA Youth Olympic Team based on performance at one of the U.S. regional CONI USA Youth selection tryouts in the U.S. East and West Coasts and Midwest.
The Midwest tryouts will be held in Chicago;
SATURDAY, MAY 10th (and May 17th – if necessary)
at: Â St. Ignatious College Prep (1076 W. Roosevelt Rd.)
The U.S. team will travel with all expenses covered to the Italian Student Olympic Games in Macerata, Italy (June 25-July 1, 2014) to compete against Italian Teams and other Foreign delegations and also participate in Cultural Programs.

The games in Italy are organized jointly by teh Provincial Administration of Macerata and the Provincial Delegation of CONI and the Municipality of Macerata, in cooperation with the National Sports Federations.
